Hausteca Tamaulipeca

Within the state of Tamaulipas, the Huapango is one of several different regional styles of dance that continue to survive. The dancers perform in costumes which reflect the resilient Mexican tradition of the Vaquero - Cowboy - with leather protective gear and broad hats. On this occasion, we present the lively song and dance from the southern part of the state with its distinctive accordion music.
